Making payments at merchants continues to get easier as technology improves. Now, with mobile payment options such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay, you can add your HCU check card to compatible mobile devices. Anytime you see the logo, just tap your phone to the card terminal and you will be on your way without fumbling around in your wallet.
Add your Heartland Credit Union Check Card to the Wallet icon preloaded to your iPhone. At merchants who have terminals set up to accept Apple Pay, all you need to do is tap your phone to the terminal and keep your finger on the Touch ID button.
Members can use Apple Pay in store on an iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch. Apple Pay can also be used in-app with an iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad pro, iPad mini3, and iPad mini 4.
If it’s not already pre-installed, download the Samsung Pay app to your device. Follow the prompts and add your Heartland Credit Union Check Card in the app. You will be prompted to either use your fingerprint or create a Samsung Pay PIN. All you need to do is swipe up from your home screen and either enter your Samsung Pay PIN or tap your fingerprint to activate your Samsung Payment. Tap the card terminal, and your transaction will be complete. In the event you have issues using your phone at a merchant, make sure the NFC setting on your phone is enabled.
Samsung Pay is available with the Galaxy S6, S6 active, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note5 through an app update. The availability will vary by mobile network operator. The app will appear when you install the operating system update. The app is not available for download on unsupported devices.
If it’s not already pre-installed, download the Google Pay app to your device. Follow the prompts to add your Heartland Credit Union Check Card in the app. If you don’t already have a passcode on your phone, you will be prompted to create one. At merchants who have terminals set up to accept Google Pay, all you need to do is unlock your phone and hold it up to the card terminal when paying.
