Loan Payment Options
Heartland Credit Union offers several convenient ways to make your loan payment. Choose the option that works best for you.
Pay Through It’s Me 247 Online Banking
If you are making a payment from a Heartland Credit Union account, you can easily transfer funds to your loan through It’s Me 247 Online Banking.
- Visit www.hcu.org.
- Log in to It’s Me 247 Online Banking.
- Select the appropriate account and follow the prompts to transfer your payment to your loan.
Pay from Another Financial Institution
You can make a payment using an account at another financial institution through HCU’s online payment portal.
- Visit www.hcu.org.
- Select “Pay HCU” in the upper-left corner of the website.
- Review the notification and select “Continue.”
- You will be redirected to HCU’s secure third-party payment portal.
- Sign in or select “Register” if you are a first-time user.
Before You Register
Please have the following information available:
- A valid email address you can access. If you had an account in HCU’s former payment portal, please register using the same email address associated with that account.
- The primary member’s identifying information
- Your HCU member number*
- Access to your email to receive a verification message or security code
- The routing and account numbers for the financial institution from which you plan to make your payment
- A supported internet browser
*Your member number is the first portion of your account number before the hyphen. Do not include the account suffix. For example, if your account number is 123456-001, enter 123456 as your member number.
How to Register
- Select “Register” on the payment portal sign-in screen.
- Enter the primary member’s information. If you are a joint member on the loan, you must still enter the primary member’s information.
- Complete all required fields exactly as the information appears in Heartland Credit Union’s records.
- Enter a valid email address that you can access.
- Review your information for accuracy.
- Submit the registration form.
- Check your email for a verification message or security code.
- Follow the instructions in the email or enter the security code when prompted.
- Return to the portal and sign in using your newly created username and password.
- Add the payment account you would like to use.
- Make a one-time payment for a $2 convenience fee or establish a recurring payment at no charge.
Need to Make a One-Time Payment? No Problem!
Express Pay allows you to make a one-time payment without registering for an account.
- Select “Express Pay” on the payment portal sign-in screen.
- Enter the primary member’s information. If you are a joint member on the loan, you must still enter the primary member’s information.
- Complete all required fields exactly as the information appears in Heartland Credit Union’s records.
- Select “Continue with Express Pay.”
- Select the loan you would like to pay.
- Select “Manage Payment Methods” and follow the prompts to complete your payment.
A $2 convenience fee applies to one-time payments made through Express Pay.
Payment Portal Fees and Important Information
- Recurring payments established through the portal are free.
- One-time payments are subject to a $2 convenience fee.
- Staff-assisted payments are subject to a $12 fee.
- Credit card payments are not accepted.
- Members can establish recurring payments through the portal to avoid payment fees.
Print a Loan Payment Coupon
Loan payment coupons can be printed through It’s Me 247 Online Banking.
- Visit www.hcu.org
and log in to It’s Me 247.
- Select your loan account.
- Follow the prompts to print a payment coupon.
Protect Your Information
- Do not share your payment portal username or password with anyone.
- Create a unique password that you do not use for other accounts.
- Always log out after completing your payment.
- Contact Heartland Credit Union immediately if you notice suspicious or unauthorized activity.
