Courtesy Pay will save you the time, hassle and embarrassment of taking care of an NSF with the merchant. The cost of protection is $35 per item, far less than you would pay for most merchants fees. Plus,
Recent changes in federal legislation (Regulation E) give members additional options regarding overdrafts. Members must give Heartland Credit Union authorization to pay overdrafts for the following types of transactions:
- ATM transactions
- Every Heartland Credit Union MasterCard© Check Card transaction
There are several ways to get started with Courtesy Pay:
Overdraft Protection
Automatic overdraft protection from your Savings, Money Market, and Money Management accounts allows the transfer of funds to clear checks. This can prevent return item fees and the embarrassment of returned checks. Checkline loans are also available to qualified members, providing a cushion for overdrawn accounts.
